Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

A vital member of our team, responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The primary focus of this role is to provide direct services to clients, primarily children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), in various settings such as homes, schools, and community environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address skill deficits and behavioral excesses.

  • Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, following prescribed teaching procedures and behavior reduction protocols.

  • Collect accurate and reliable data on client progress during therapy sessions.

  • Collaborate closely with the BCBA and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency and effectiveness of treatment plans.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a supportive and motivating therapeutic environment.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with clients and their families.

  • Complete required documentation and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, including session notes, data sheets, and progress reports.

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and related areas.

  • Adhere to the professional and ethical guidelines outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and other relevant regulatory bodies.

  • RBT Certification

  • Relevant Experience (preferred)​

The initial step in our hiring process involves conducting an interview to discuss your experience, education, and to review the overall process in detail.

If we determine that you would be a good fit for the position, we will send you an offer letter containing the job description and rates. If you are interested, please sign the offer and return it to us promptly.

Talk to the Analyst

Our analyst will reach out to you to discuss the behaviors and skill deficits of the client, allowing you to determine the suitability of moving forward with the client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ​Identifying needs and formulating treatment plans to manage problematic behaviors

  • Assessing the individual needs of each child and to develop behavioral plans.

  • Monitor the progress of individuals under their care and collaborate with family members or other care providers to determine how to best address long-term individual goals.

  • Develop programs to ensure safety, structure and enrichment for the children.

  • Physically providing on-site behavioral interventions, as needed, and modeling behavioral skills for staff.

  • Developing materials to support behavior trainings

Requirements:

  • BCBA/BCaBA Certification

  • 8 hour supervision training

  • 1+ years of experience (preferred)

Rates:

$45-75 per hour for all billable services
